Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
Sunset and cloudscape over Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains from Burlington, Vermont.
The shoreline in Burlington along Lake Champlain changes with the water levels and sunset can be a great time to explore the changing landscape depending on the season. The Adirondack Mountains and New York provide a great backdrop for sunsets over the lake and that fading light as it hits the rocks on the Vermont side is pretty beautiful.
The channel of rock here is actually a few feet deep but here in this image the water levels are quite high and only a few inches are exposed. This small section of shoreline is a great spot to photograph with awesome detail in the craggy rocks. Here I got a really nice set of clouds reflecting some great light!
