Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

I really do love Lake Champlain and all of it's varied shoreline here in Burlington, Vermont. With easy access to most locations it is a pleasure to witness colorful sunsets like this one. Water levels vary throughout the year making the compositions one can find ever changing along the shoreline. Here in this image I found some nice cracked foreground rocks and used these to anchor the sunset beyond over the Adirondack Mountains.
I am a landscape photographer living and shooting landscapes throughout Vermont. I am completely self taught drawing inspiration over many diverse disciplines of art from Jackson Pollack to Ansel Adams. I started my photography journey with no knowledge and built up my experience over 15 years culminating into being a frequent contributor to Vermont Life Magazine up until they stopped publication. My photography has appeared in several issues as well as calendars and other print media. I have exhibited my work numerous times around the Burlington area and I travel and hike as much as work and family time will allow.
